Sub-alpine Fleabane - Giclee Print - Faux Gilt
This product is currently sold out.
Sub-Alpine flea-bane is one of the most conspicuous flowers on the high slopes and alpine valleys of the Canadian Rockies. The flowers heads are large; their bright yellow centers surrounded by purple rays; and the stems are often eighteen-inches long. Growing in profusion, and frequently with lemon columbine, they make the slopes gay with their colors.
The image and text for this earring was inspired by the Mary Vaux Walcott’s North American Wild Flowers, published by The Smithsonian Institution in 1925.ERS9282
