Frank Lloyd Wright September Desert Ornament

In 1927, Frank Lloyd Wright designed a series of lively geometric abstractions for covers based on seasonal themes for Liberty magazine.
The design for the September cover features a complex abstraction of the triangular pattern that Frank Lloyd Wright saw in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains, which encircle his desert home of Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona.
