Minton "XOXO" Earrings

Minton tiles are among the most striking features of the U.S. Capitol. They were installed between 1856 and 1861 in the new wings. They include geometric patterns such as the Greek key, guilloche, and basket weave; floral designs such as the fleur-de-lis; and figures such as dolphins and classical heads.
