Geometric Star Metal Bookmark

Though this design is inspired by an Islamic geometric pattern from the Abbasside (750-969 AD) and Fatimid (969-1171 AD) periods, Christian communities during this time would have used an identical stylistic vocabulary. The same craftsmen probably worked for both communities.
