18th Century Roses On Sevres Metal Bookmark

Eighteenth-Century France saw a flowering of the decorative arts, particularly in ceramics, where the Sèvres factory was under the support of Louis XV and Madame de Pompadour. The inspiration for this bookmark is a detail from a vase made in that period.
