In analytical cubism, objects are broken up and reassembled -- in abstracted form. A detail from a 1912 portrait of Germaine Raynal by Juan Gris shows the beginning of that movement, which was to have a great influence on the art world. These earrings apply the cubist concept to the profile of a face.

These earrings are so much fun!!! The Cubist Art era wasn’t one l am particularly fond of, but these earrings just grabbed me. I have received so many compliments when l wear them!! They have become a new favorite of mine. When my sister visited Vermont she found the boutique that sold your jewelry and purchased the Book earrings for me and that’s how it has all started. My 3rd pair are the Art Deco staircase ones!!! And l know there will be new additions to my collection!! Keep the designs coming!!
