Frank Lloyd Wright Willits Cobalt Lightscreen Earrings

Regular price $40.00

These Frank Lloyd Wright Willits Cobalt Lightscreen earrings are architectural jewelry inspired by the stained-glass light screens Wright designed for the Ward W. Willits House in Highland Park, Illinois. A museum-quality gift for architecture lovers and Frank Lloyd Wright enthusiasts, the earrings capture the geometric relationship between Wright's architecture, stained glass, and nature.

The Ward W. Willits House is considered one of the first great Prairie School houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The house presents a symmetrical façade to the street and seamlessly combines architecture with nature. The plan is a cruciate with four wings extending from a central fireplace. In addition, Wright designed the furniture for the house, stained-glass windows (light screens), and wooden screens that divided rooms.
