Impression, Sunrise - Monet Earrings


Claude Monet's painting of a sunrise over the port of Le Havre was first shown at an exhibition in Paris in 1874. Monet asked for a title for the exhibition catalog, and he said "Impression." Many credit him with naming the Impressionist movement.
