Kelp Forest & Sea Otter Metal Bookmark

Sea otters help to maintain healthy kelp forests by eating sea urchins. Without otters, kelp forests would be completely devoured by sea urchins, leaving areas called sea-urchin barrens. Otters are well adapted for their predominately aquatic lifestyle, possessing strong, rudder-like tails and large hind feet that act as flippers.
