Lady Of Compassion Metal Bookmark

This bookmark shows the bare-footed Hedwig, a wealthy married Polish noblewoman, carrying her shoes. Although she never took religious vows, her self-mortification; charitable deeds: and the healing miracles associated with her tomb led to her canonization in 1267.
