Nimbus Earrings

 The play of light on the pleated surface of Anish Kapoor’s sculpture Halo was the inspiration for these earrings. Folded surfaces are much more characteristic of origami; turning them into metal is challenging, but it rewards the maker with unusual and lively earrings.
