Wild Violets Earrings A native wildflower, the violet tends to favor woods, thickets, and stream banks. With heart-shaped leaves, the flowers can be blue-violet or sometimes yellow or white. Each flower appears on its leafless stalk and is edible. Depending on location, the flower blooms from early spring into the early summer months.
